ADMISSION TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES IS NOW FREE

The National Museum of the Philippines has announced that the admission fee to the museum is now permanently free starting tomorrow, July 1. This was done since they observed a spike in visitor count, especially of younger visitors when entrance fee is free. They hope to attract more visitors to the museum.

Here is the announcement in their official Facebook page :

The admission fee has been free for the past couple of months. I myself visited the museum last month with my sister since the last time I visited was when I was still in grade school - more than 20 years ago. It was really nice to see the history of the country in works of arts and other artifacts.
