BASKETBALL : METTA WORLD PEACE IN MANILA

Basketball icon Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) has arrived in Manila today, as posted in his Twitter account:

This is his first time in the Philippines. And with him is a revelation that will make Filipino fans happy. According to an article in Spin.ph, he revealed that his half Filipino son, Jeron Artest has applied for a Philippine passport in the hopes of making it to the national team Gilas Pilipinas someday.

And based on his latest post, Metta World Peace is now eating Filipino comfort food at Manams in Greenbelt.
