UP FIGHTING MAROONS : UP MBT ALUMNI JETT MANUEL AND DAVE MORALDE GOT PICKED AT THE 2017 PBA ROOKIE DRAFT

Two UP Men's Basketball Team alumni got picked in this year's rookie draft of the Philippine Basketball Association or PBA.

Former King Maroon and team captain Engr. Jett Manuel and energy man Dave Moralde got picked from a pool of 44 aspirants this year.

Jett Manuel who is still fresh from his stint with the Chooks to Go Pilipinas team that competed in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup got picked by the country's favorite team - Barangay Ginebra San Miguel as the 12th over-all pick and the last pick in the first round.I really think that his stint with the Chooks To Go Pilipinas team along side 2nd over all pick Kiefer Ravena, 3rd over all pick Raymar Jose and 5th over all pick Jeron Teng really helped him build his stock before the draft.

On the other hand, Dave Moralde had to wait for the 3rd round to get picked by Talk N Text Ka-Tropa as the 10th pick in the 3rd round or 33rd pick over-all.

Congrats Jett and Dave! Represent the Maroons well! Hope both of you can get slots with your respective teams.
